Lovely food and reasonably priced. Decor is dated and gloomy but staff were very helpful. Also if you take little ones please note that they have no crayons etc or children's size cutlery even though they offer kids menus.
Some of the menu is a little pricey but you get a good choice with less expensive options too so its well worth it. The staff are really helpful with good tips about menu options and you get served at your own pace. I felt very welcome and relaxed.
Unfortunately after lunch I have decided no longer to experience any further dining out at this establishment due to the portion size of the meals provided. I understand lunch is lunch however the size of the portion was ridiculous and Id rather of been charged slightly more to have the correct amount of food enough to at least stop me from feeling like I havent eaten.Its a shame as there food is great and will be missed.
Always enjoy a visit here, some very nice staff. Have been here multiple times, including last Christmas Day which was nice and relaxed; very enjoyable. The new twice cooked jacket chips, a must have!
Food was good. Price was good. Service was slow at the end but otherwise good and friendly. The one big change I'd make is turning on some lights. Upstairs is way too dark.
